PREVIOUS WORK

Built to be used.
Made to fit.

A customer portal for Rhino Products. A connected app for our own business. Two examples of software shaped around the people using it.

RHINO PRODUCTS / CUSTOMER PROJECT

From a QR code
to fitting guidance.

We developed a bespoke portal for Rhino Products to digitise their fitting instructions.

The need
Reduce reliance on paper instructions and keep guidance accessible when a printed sheet is damaged.
What we built
A finder with vehicle and model selection, lock and door filters, and part-code lookup.
The customer journey
Scan the supplied QR code to reach the portal, then find a matching instruction link by vehicle or part code.

FITS RIGHT / IN-HOUSE PRODUCT

One app.
A bigger picture.

We built Fits Right so everyday food logs, workouts and progress could inform one connected coaching experience. Optional scan insights add another view. A product we design, develop and operate ourselves.

WHY WE BUILT FITS RIGHTA short product overview
Real app footage from an authorised account, with privacy edits. Includes an unsaved food-logging preview, existing diary records and a genuine Coach conversation, shown close up.
Read the app overview
  1. Start at the top of Home: nutrition, activity, training and Coach in one place.
  2. Explore food-logging options and review a recent food before adding it. This preview stays unsaved.
  3. Open an existing diary meal and its daily nutrition totals. The diary shown is from 23 October.
  4. Follow a saved training routine with animated exercise guidance.
  5. Explore optional scan measurements, then view the longer weight trend.
  6. Ask Coach how food, workouts and scan/progress history fit together. The genuine reply is enlarged so its explanation is easier to read.

03 / CHECK THE DIFFERENCE

Is the whole task better?

Check time spent, answer quality and running costs, including corrections and human review.

Illustrative workflow, not measured customer results. Your team checks the facts and agrees any delivery promise.

How portals, automation and AI work together

A portal presents related information. Automation repeats an agreed predictable step. An AI assistant interprets varying messages or documents and prepares a contextual answer or action. These can work together; some tasks only need a simple rule.

WHY CONSIDER AI NOW?

Start with the work
you repeat today.

A focused first step helps your team learn what AI can do with your information. Measure the result before committing to a wider rollout.

A PRACTICAL WAY TO START

One workflow. A clear result to check.

  1. Understand today.Record the time, rework and cost of the current task.
  2. Test the assistant.Agree its information, actions and review points.
  3. Decide what comes next.Compare quality, effort and cost before expanding.

FROM PROBLEM TO PRACTICAL CHANGE

Personal from
the first conversation.

Work directly with Michael. First, we discuss what you want to improve and the tools you use. Then we recommend a useful starting point and agree the work before building.

01

Find the bottleneck.

Show us where work gets stuck. Understand the task, current tools and a practical starting measure.

02

Agree the useful change.

Review the approach, scope, price and running costs. Agree a success check and when to review the result.

03

Build it properly.

Adapt suitable foundations, build the bespoke parts and test the workflows, access and integrations you need.

04

Make it yours.

Get the agreed code, access and guidance after full payment. Three months of support help you settle in.

You review the proposed work before committing to the build. Any paid discovery or prototype work is agreed first.

TWO WAYS TO WORK TOGETHER

Your software.
Your choice of support.

Choose a complete handover or an ongoing partnership. You own the agreed bespoke code in either case.

01 / RUN IT YOUR WAY

Build & handover

For businesses that want to manage their software themselves or use their own technical team.

  • A complete handover. The agreed bespoke source code, documentation and account access after full payment.
  • Freedom to choose.Choose your hosting and who maintains the system. Bring in another developer when you need to.
  • Help when you want it.Return for separately quoted support or improvements. No compulsory Fits Right subscription.
Discuss build & handover
02 / KEEP US ALONGSIDE YOU

Managed partnership

For businesses that want us to help keep their software running and plan what comes next.

  • The same code ownership. You retain your agreed bespoke code and rights to your data and accounts.
  • Agreed ongoing care.A separately agreed monthly fee covers the hosting coordination, maintenance, monitoring and support included in your plan, with clear responsibilities and allowances.
  • A clear way forward.Plan improvements together, with new development scoped and priced separately. Agree exit and transition arrangements up front.
Discuss a managed partnership

Included with either route. Every build starts with an agreed fee and scope. Three months of help using the delivered functionality and fixing faults within that scope start from the agreed handover date. New features, redesigns and extra integrations are separately quoted.

Clear costs. Clear ownership. Hosting, AI usage and third-party running costs are disclosed before agreement. Your agreement distinguishes bespoke code from reusable foundations and third-party components, with the licences and access needed to run and maintain the system. Ending ongoing care does not remove your agreed code ownership.

A FEW THINGS, UP FRONT

Good questions.
Straight answers.

Ready-made, integrated or built from scratch?

For a familiar need, we can adapt a suitable ready-made foundation so you avoid paying to rebuild standard features. We can also connect the tools you already use or develop bespoke software for a specific workflow. We check the fit, available foundations, licences and platform access before agreeing the build. These example portals illustrate possible workflows; they are not finished products available to deploy.

Can this work for a small team or a larger business?

The starting point is the workflow. A small team may be well served by an adapted starting solution; an established organisation may need a connection between existing systems. A specialist small business can need bespoke work too. We scope the users, access, data and support before agreeing a build.

Can we start with one small task?

Yes. A calculator, report, automation or website can be the whole project. We can discuss a separate next step later, if there is a clear reason to build more.

How will we know whether it helped?

Before building, agree one task, its starting measure, a success check and a review date. Compare similar work using the old and new process, including time spent checking and correcting, unsuccessful cases and running costs. Time freed for other work is different from a cash saving. No fixed savings or sales increase is promised.

Can you improve software we already use?

We can assess changes to an existing codebase, a permitted platform extension or a connection between your tools. We first check the platform, your access rights and what it supports. Some changes need a separate application or a different approach; we confirm that before quoting the build.

What access will you need?

That depends on the work. We can start with a walkthrough and example data. Once the scope is agreed, we request only the relevant developer invitation, code access or authorized service connection. Work is tested separately before an agreed live release. Keep passwords, API keys and private customer records out of the project-outline form.

How much will it cost?

It depends on the agreed scope, integrations and support requirements. We agree a written quote before the build, and agree any paid discovery or prototype work in advance too.

Does every project need AI?

No. We use AI development tools where they help us work efficiently. AI inside your product is a separate choice, based on a useful task, appropriate permissions and tested results. Where needed, people review outputs before an action is taken.

Do we own the code with a managed partnership?

Yes. Both delivery options include ownership of the agreed bespoke code after full payment. A managed partnership adds an agreed ongoing service; it does not replace the handover with a software rental. We define care allowances, responsibilities, running costs and transition arrangements before you commit.

Can another developer take over?

Yes, with either delivery option. We provide the agreed source code, documentation and account access so your system can be maintained independently. The agreement identifies reusable and third-party components and their licences. External services still need active accounts and their running costs covered. If we manage the system, exit and transition arrangements are agreed up front.

START WITH ONE USEFUL CHANGE.

What could
work better?

The report that takes all morning. The quote that waits too long. The website that leaves people unsure.
Tell us where it gets difficult.
